Brings Supremacy Foundation (TBSF) marathon race following their sterling
performance in the competition. The long-distance race was aimed at uniting and
Lamin Joof received a giant trophy, 10, 000 dalasi, medal and a certificate while Regina Mendy was decorated with a goal medal, certificate, trophy and cash prize of 8,000 dalasi as three kilometer winner.
Mr. Joof said he was grateful for the victory, saying he was not surprise that he would be victorious as he has been training hard for the marathon since September.
He said his target is to represent The Gambia in international competitions, noting that he had participated in many marathons.
The winner for the three kilometers race Regina Mendy said she had a two-day training prior to the marathon, saying that she encountered several difficulties before the competition.
Brahim Sorie Dumbuya, president of Talent Brings Supremacy Foundation said the initiative is aimed at developing talents in young people.
