Lamin Basketball team on recently defeated Sports House Basketball team by 56 points to 26 points in the ongoing late Pa Modou Sarr Memorial Basketball Tournament at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium Basketball Lawn.
The win has left Sport House in a firm position to be guaranteed a spot in the next stage of the championship as they face a must-win situation to put their title hope back on track against YMCA in their final group match.
On the other hand, Lamin, who stand a better chance of progressing to the semi-final stage, need a win to ensure their qualification, should they beat YMCA in Tuesday's crucial fixtures.
Wallidan and Serrekunda East Basketball teams both advanced to the semi-final stage of the championship after finishing first and second places in group A at the expense of Manjai Boys and Kanifing Basketball team.
