The third-vice president of The Gambia
Football Federation, who also doubles as the acting chairman of Event
Management Committee for the GFF, retired General Lang Tombong Tamba has
lamented that lack of honesty cause the Stadium being overcrowded against
Algeria on Saturday.
General Tamba was speaking at a press conference held at the Football House in Kanifing East Layout yesterday.
Tamba noted that lack of honesty led to the stadium overcrowding of the stadium that delayed the match against the Desert Foxes.
Tamba pointed out that the Algeria match was a lessons for them, saying they are prepared well for the Togo clash on 16 October in Banjul.
He advised journalists to educate the public about football prior to the Gambia’s next match against Togo next month in Banjul.
