Kombo South district tourney rescheduled final slated for September 3

The 2017 Berewuleng Football Club-sponsored Kombo South district football tournament re-scheduled final is set for Saturday 3 September 2017, at the Jambanjelly football field.

The much-awaited final, which will feature Farato and Batokunku, is gathering momentum among many football admirers in Kombo South and surrounding.

Farato beat Tanji on penalties in the semifinal to progress to the final, and will strive to defeat Batokunku in the final on 3 September 2017 to land their second Kombo South district football tournament title after clinching their first-ever district biggest football fiesta title in 2008 upon beating Kartong on penalties in the final played at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field.

Batokunku defeated Jambur on penalties in the semifinal to advance to the final, and will brawl to beat Farato on 3 September 2017 to lift their first-ever Kombo South district football tournament crown in their debut final in the district biggest football fray.

The winner for the 2017 Berewuleng Football Club-sponsored Kombo South district football tournament will receive a giant trophy, gold medals and cash prize of D20,000.

The runners-up will receive silver medal and cash prize of D15, 000.
