Kombo North derby in W/Coast Region 3rd Division League

Relegation threatened Nema United will host Busumbala United in the all-Kombo North derby week-five fixtures of the 2013-2014 West Coast Region third division league on Saturday 5 April 2014, at the Nema Kunku Football Field.

Nema United are currently struggling in the West Coast Region third division league table and will be hoping to bounce back after losing two consecutive games against Gunjur United and Brufut United 1-0 in their last two fixtures, to keep hopes of staying in the league and avoid relegation.

Busumbala United are 5th place with 5 points in three games with a game in hand against Brikama and will make all efforts to snatch a win against whipping boys Nema United to bag the vital three points.

New Yundum will rub shoulders with Farato United at the Farato Football Field. New Yundum are languishing on the league table with a single point in three games with a game in hand against Brufut United. They will be expecting to bounce back after losing to Gunjur United 3-1 in the week-four fixtures played at the weekend to move away from relegation zone as well as to keep their hopes of staying in the league.

Farato United are also struggling in the West Coast Region third division league table and will be looking for a victory against New Yundum to fancy their chances of staying in the league and also avoid relegation.

Elsewhere, Foni Berefet will clash with Brufut United at the Bulock Football Field. Foni Berefet are mid-table and Brufut are 4th place in the league table with 6 points in three games with a game in hand against New Yundum.

On Sunday 7 April 2014, Kombo Kerewan United will welcome current league leaders Gunjur United at the Kombo Kerewan Football Field.

Kombo Kerewan United are mid-table and will be hoping for a win against current league leaders Gunjur United to close the gap as well as keeping their hopes of winning the West Coast Region third division league title. Gunjur United are currently leading the league table with 10 points in four games and will be looking for a victory against Kombo Kerewan United to rejuvenate their lead at the top of the summit.

Jambanjelly United will entertain Brikama at the Jambanjelly Football Field. Jambanjelly United are currently occupying 2nd place with 8 points in four games two points behind league leaders Gunjur United, who have bagged 10 points in four outings.

They are now eyeing for a win against Brikama to mount pressure on league leaders Gunjur United. Brikama are mid-table with 4 points in three games with a game in hand against New Yundum and will be looking for a victory against Jambanjelly United to keep their title ambition alive.

Elsewhere, Black & White of Berending will host Sifoe United in the all-Kombo South derby fixtures at the Berending Football Field.

Black & White are mid-table and will be heading for a win against Sifoe United to fancy their chances of winning the league. Sifoe United are occupying 3rd place with 6 points in four games and will be vying for a win against Black & White to keep their title hopes alive.
