Kexx Utd ruins Immigration to rejuvenate lead in GFF 2nd Division

Kexx United have extended their lead in the 2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation second division league following their 2-0 win over the newly-promoted side Immigration at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

The Wellingara village-based football club had leveled on points with Young Africans prior their week-four fixture with Immigration, positioned just two places above the relegation zone.

Kexx United clinched the vital three points, after notching in two goals to move two clear points ahead of Brufut United, who thumped Lions of Banjul.

Young Africans drew goalless with the newly-promoted side Latrikunda United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Relegated side Samger beat the newly-promoted side Gunjur United 2-1 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Red Hawks drew 1-1 with BK Milan at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Kexx United are now leading the second division standings with 10 points in four league matches.

Brufut United and Young Africans are second and third places respectively with 8 points in four league matches.

Wallidan are fourth with 7 points in four league fixtures; Samger and Serrekunda United are 5th and 6th places with 6 points each in four league matches.

Red Hawks and BK Milan are 7th and 8th places with 5 points each in four league matches.

Gunjur United and Latrikunda United are 9th and 10th places 4 points each in four league matches.

Serrekunda East Bi are 11th place with 3 points in four league matches; Waa Banjul and Immigration are 12th and 13th places respectively with 2 points each.

Lions of Banjul are rock-bottom with 1 point in four league matches
