Hagie Hatau Karaga and his family have donated 11 wheelchairs to Fajikunda health center to help needy patients to access mobility, held at the youth monument in Westfield.

Mr. Karaga’s first wife Sally Suso applauded the great gesture and reiterated that her husband has more in mind to help needy Gambians.

She added that Mr. Karaga provided the gesture because of the love he has for the country, saying he has been providing such humanitarian gesture to the community.

Ramatoulie Camara, officer in charge of the health facility thanked the donor for the humanitarian assistance.

She assured that the materials will be put in good use, saying there are many people who are in need of wheelchairs but could not afford to buy one by themselves. “You may think that the gift is small but I can tell you that it is a big thing to the needy ones. Nothing is small in humanitarian work and I therefore call on others to emulate such good work.”
