Real De Banjul Center back, James Gomez has left the country for Denmark to begin a professional trail with AC Horsens.

The skillful defender who landed in Denmark on Friday, seeks to impress the technical and management of AC Horsens to get his first professional contract.

Gomez who is a WAFU winner with the Gambia U-20 in Liberian capital last year, is one of the hottest prospects in the Gambia with his unique playing style.

Greater Tomorrow manager Benjamin was full of praise for the 17-year-old who has already drawn comparison to Bubacarr Sanneh as he believes he can shine.

“Once he is given an opportunity, he will show what he is capable off” Benjamin emphasised.

” James is a pride for West Coast region. He is a national prospect with a great future ahead of him for both club and country.” He added.
