Interior United Saturday beat Armed Forces in the 2016-17 Gambia Football Federation Following their 2-0 defeat to Armed Forces in a well-attended semifinal and colourful display by the army band in the all security derby played at Serrekunda East mini stadium at the weekend.

Both sides started the game very fine knowing that a draw was enough for both teams, after their goalless in the first leg of the semifinal 1st leg a fortnight ago.

Isa Saidykhan opened the scores 50th after following a cross from Isatou Jallow to tap home the opener.

Moments later Armed Forces regrouped themselves and mounted pressure on the police outfit, but failed to utilise their limited chances on several attempts.

Isa Saidykhan fired in the dying minute goal to give the police outfit a convincing victory over their archrivals.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Immigration drew 1-all with Red Scorpions following their goalless draw in the first away leg.

The draw has earned Immigration a place in the final after notching in an away goal.
