Wednesday, January 31, 2018

Immigration Football Club over the weekend shared spoils with Armed Forces in the all-Security derby fixture of the ongoing Gambia Football Federation women domestic division one league following their goalless draw in the week-eight fixture played at the FIFA goal project at Old Yundum.

Both teams made excellent starts to the game and created some goal scoring chances but they were not clinical in front of goal ending the game goalless. The draw has earned Immigration third place in the country’s Women domestic division one league standings.

In other scores, league leaders Interior edged-past Future Bi 10-1 at the same ground.

Future Bi’s recent defeat against the police out-fit was their seventh straight defeat in the season so they are also languishing at rock bottom in the women’s top flight league.

Red Scorpions also beat Abuko United 2-0 at the FIFA Goal project while Brikama trounced City Girls 2-0 in the second division while Jeshwang United pipped Brewulleng FC1-0.
