International Lifesaving Federation (ILS) has finally certified 2 Lifesaving
Instructors from the Gambia Swimming and Lifesaving Association (GSLA), after a
week of intensive lifesaving training and lectures.
Habibballah Jeng and Raoul Sambou participated in the training course for International Lifeguard Instructor in Pool and Lifeguard Instructor at Sea.
The training was organised by the International Lifesaving Federation (ILS) in collaboration with the Royal Moroccan Federation of Rescue (FRMS) and the African Lifesaving Academy (AAS) from the 25 to 30 June 2018 in Agadir, Morocco.
The two (2) certified graduates will be International Lifeguard Instructors in the Pool and at Beach/Ocean and will be able to give courses to candidates who want to become international pool lifeguard and/or international beach/surf lifeguard in The Gambia.
At the end of the training, the two (2) Instructors were awarded with the prestigious ILS certificates, cards and badges.
