defender Ibou Touray over the weekend scored for his Salford City in their 3-0
win over Maidenhead United to boost their national league (fifth division)
league title fight.
The 24-year-old scored the second goal for Salford in the 27th minute of the match after Emmanuel Dieseruvwe’s opener in the 10th minute. Adam Rooney netted the third goal in the 45th minute of the match to complete a comfortable win over Maidenhead United.
Touray was featured for The Gambia senior national team in their 1-1 draw with Algeria in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last month and scored his first goal for Salford City against Barrow last December.
