defender Ibou Touray has scored his first goal for Salford City in their 3-2
defeat to Barrow in the fifth English league tier played at Holker Street
stadium over the weekend.
The 24-year-old is currently attracting interest from league one club Shrewsbury Town after netting in what appeared to be a consolation for Salford, who are occupying second in the fifth-tier with 55 points.
The goal was the left-back’s first for the club after 68 league matches. He joined Salford side on free transfer from Nantwich Town in 2017.
The Liverpool-born established himself as a key player in the Salford side since joining the club in the summer of 2017 and his performance have alerted clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Salford remained keen on keeping their star left-back as they look to maintain their push for promotion to the fourth-tier of English league football.
