party leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) has said that he doesn’t harbor any hatred against any politicians, whether it’s President Adama Barrow
or any other person.
Ousainou Darboe was speaking in a recent interview aired on Star FM Radio.
Asked about his personal and political relationship with President Barrow after being sacked as the country’s vice president, Darboe indicated that he knows that politicians have their own political objective that they want to pursue.
He added that he doesn’t think anybody should be angry at anyone for chasing their political objectives.
Darboe maintained that life is just the same as it was before becoming vice president and minister of Foreign Affairs, adding that he has lived his life as a lawyer, family man and as a politician, even prior to becoming a cabinet minister.
“So I was living the same life because I know that I might go back from where I was well before becoming a minister or a vice president.
He said that the only activity he is not doing now is practicing law, but apart from that, he added, everything is the same.
Further quizzed as to whether there are differences between UDP, he and President Adama Barrow currently, Mr. Darboe, replied that he is with his UDP and anyone who is a follower of the party should accept that he is their leader.
“If anyone doesn’t accept that, and then consider yourself not part of UDP.
