Hoyuntan clinches Royal Wrestling Combat crown

Hoyuntan of club Nodongo Ceesay has clinched the Royal wrestling combat crown after defeating Leket Bu Barra in a well-contested wrestling bout staged at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

 Hoyuntan beat Leket Burr Barra in the first 20 minutes of the contest staged at the country’s biggest sports arena.

As champion Hoyuntan went home with a King Seat, Stick, crown and a Flag named after Lamin Dampha.

The Combat was organised by Alagie Morr Jobe C.E.O of Ala Promotions which brought together thousands of wrestling followers across the country.

Both wrestlers came into the contest with the intention of beating each other to clinch the crown; however Hoyuntan carry the day after edging-past Leket Burr Barra in a combat that lasted twenty minutes.

Wrestling lovers revealed their disappointment to both wrestlers, adding that they expected a very tough fight but the two heavy-weight wrestlers failed to show their best wrestling skills during the much-awaited contest.
