Gambia Football Federation 2016-17 cup champions Hawks will host Nigerian
premier league side Akwa United in the second leg of the 2018 CAF
Confederations cup preliminaries today 21 February, at the Independence Stadium
in Bakau at 6pm.
The Red Devils need just a draw to progress to the second round of the continent’s second tier football club competition after beating Akwa United 2-1 in the first leg in Uyo last week.
The Nigerian Premier league side need to beat Hawks by at least two goals to nil or three goals to one in the second leg to advance to the second round of the continent’s second tier following their disappointing 2-1 defeat to Hawks in the first leg.
But a draw will see them out and Hawks through to the second round after their slender 2-1 win in the first leg in Uyo last week.
