Hardcore Production ready for Gambian Music

Hardcore Production, a music recording studio has started operation in The Gambia to offer music recording, beat creation and mixing and mastering of songs.

Ras Askia, chief executive officer of Hardcore Production said the studio is trying to bring out the new talents to bring them in limelight.

“We are working on Extended Play (EPs) and albums for some artists to enable them penetrate the market for recognition in the country,” he explained.

According to him, they have planned to sell their music across Gambian borders in terms of collaboration with other artists. “We are doing all kind of music to reach out to the wider audience across the globe, as we are trying to work on their lyrics to bring the best out of them. We want to bring out the real talent out of them,” he added.

Masta CD, producer at Hardcore Production recalled that he met Ras Askia some years ago by then it was Ghetto Link Production.

He said when he met Ras; he explained to him that he wanted to learn more about production so they teamed-up and setup the Hardcore Production Studio. “We are currently working with three artists namely Idealistic, D. Bro, Antou and Ghass, so we recorded some songs for them and we are working on EPs and albums for them,” he said.
