Gambia Volleyball Federation –GVBF- has signed a two-year kits sponsorship deal with Malaysian based sporting company Medallion Sports Group (MSG).
The two parties signed the deal on Tuesday in Banjul led by GVBF vice president Bai Dodou Jallow and MSG country representative Modou Lamin Sarr.
“This is a milestone in the history of Gambian Volleyball and we are so delighted to reach this historic development with MSG,” Mr Jallow stated after signing the MOU.
Mr. Sarr said Medallion Sports Group (MSG) is proud to be a brand with an African identity and they are pleased to be associated with The Gambia Volleyball Federation (GVBF). He said the agreement will be maintained domestically in Gambia where Volleyball looks to be on the rise with the continued good work from the GVBF.
Part of the Memorandum of Understanding includes: Medallion Sports to provide free customized Jerseys and training kits to assist the GVBF for two years. They also agreed that Medallion Sports will provide all customized products such as cups, T-shirts, bags, etc required by GVBF at a reduced price for the period of Medallion Sports’ operation in Gambia.
The Gambia Volleyball Federation also agrees to work with Medallion Sports by assisting all processes and requirement for its operation in Gambia for the next years effective from the date of signing the agreement.
Gambia junior volleyball team will travel to Algeria in July this year to take part in the 3rd African Youth Games.
