clothing from Lions club, an international charity in the United Kingdom, who
has been supporting needy and vulnerable communities in the country.

He said the support that the charity has been doing in Gambia’s education and health sectors has already create positive impact on the lives and livelihood of the people who benefitted.
Kebba Cham, project coordinator of Lions Club said since establishment of the charity, it has been supporting Gambian communities, including the construction of schools and water projects. “We are not only going to stop at assisting this community. What we are thinking of now is how to provide similar support to other villages in the country,” he said.
Omar Jammeh, a member of the charity reminded the beneficiaries, particularly young people to be active participants in the improvement and development of their own community.
“As young people, we have to be active and be bold enough in taking part in the development of our communities which will help us in attaining our goals.”
