After a few weeks of break, due to the ongoing Baby Muhammed Jammeh Perpetual Zonal Football Tournament, the 2009-10 Gunjur Knock-out Championship, will reach its semi-finals stage this weekend at Gunjur Playing Grounds.
On Friday 11th December 2009, Commit FC will entertain Qcell FC in the first semi-finals. Commit FC had made it to the semi-finals following their 5-4 victory over NAS FC in their quarter-final ties after 0-0 draw in the regular time of play, while their opponents Qcell FC advanced to the semi- finals following their 4-3 victory over Pentagon FC in their ties 0-0 in the normal time of play.
On Sunday 12th December 2009, Gamcel FC will clash with Happy Gunjur FC in the second semi-finals, Gamcel through to semi-finals following their 4-2 win over Santos United FC in their quarter-final encounter after 1-1draw in the 90th minute of the game.
Happy Gunjur FC sailed to the semi-finals after thrashing New Town United FC 2-0 in their quarter-finals clash and all games will kick start at 4.30pm.
