United are anxious to end their miserable winless run in the 2018-2019 Gambia
Football Federation (GFF) second division league following their woeful start
into the second tier campaign.
They are currently winless after their two opening league matches with only a single point, following their goalless draw with Bakau giant killers Steve Biko before losing to debutants Sporting Real 2-1 last week.
The South-boys will play away to Serrekunda East Bi in the week-three today Thursday at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 4pm.
They must defeat the East Bi outfit today to end their winless run in the second division to improve their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.
Serrekunda East Bi is currently with 3 points following their 3-1win over Immigration after slipping to debutants Second Infantry Battalion 2-1 in their opening league match. They will fray to wallop Gunjur United today to grip their second win in the campaign.
Red Hawks will play Immigration at the Independence Stadium in Bakau where both teams will anticipate bouncing-back after losing to Jambanjelly United and Serrekunda East Bi respectively in their last league outings.
Lions of Banjul will welcome debutants Second Infantry Battalion at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium. The Banjul club is currently topping the second tier with maximum 6 points after winning their two opening matches.
They will vie to humiliate Second Infantry Battalion to keep their hundred percent record in the league. The Farafenni Barrack soldiers have collected 3 points in one match following their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Serrekunda East Bi with a game in hand against Red Hawks.
