Trust Bank Gambia Limited on Friday 20th October, 2017 presented another set of
prizes to lucky winners at a ceremony held at its Head Office on 56 Kairaba
Avenue. The presentation, the second of its kind this year is in respect to the
Bank’s ‘Save & Win’ Deposit promotion.
Explaining the objectives of the promotion to customers in attendance at the presentation, GTBank Senior Manager and member of the Save and Win Promotion Committee Mr. Alasana Jabby, said the promotion was meant to encourage a saving culture in The Gambia by giving out invaluable items to winning customers. He added that the promotion was divided into three Categories with a view to allow customers of different income levels to save for “the rainy day and as well win prizes.”
Alasana Jabby added that category one customers were expected to maintain balances ranging from D10, 000 to D50, 000 for 3 months. Such customers stand the chance to be among 10 lucky winners of 2 bags of rice, a bag of onions, 20ltr gallon of cooking oil, and 25kg of sugar.
According to Mr. Jabby, the second category was for customers who maintain balances above D50, 000.00 to D200, 000.00 every three months to be among three lucky winners of a motor cycle, Samsung fridge freezer and LG 32 inch LED TV.
Mr. Jabby added that 3 customers would win one of their 3 grand prizes to be awarded in January 2018. To be drawn in this category, customers are expected to maintain above D200, 000.00 in their GTBank account up December 31st 2017. The prizes under this category are a bed room set, a return ticket to Dubai for one person and travel money of $2,000 and a Hyundai Tucson.
Category one lucky winners on Friday were Abbas Sanyang, Horija Bojang, Alhagi B Sowe, Abda Sey, Lamin Camara, Kitabu Camara, Ebrima Sabally, Christina Fatu Kamara, Sulayman Camara and omar Mbakeh.
Meanwhile, the winners for category two were Foday Jawla who received the LG LED TV, Yusuf Sano received a Fridge freezer, and Fatou Jammeh a motor Bike.
Awardees who spoke to the press including Fatou Jammeh, a nurse by profession who received the motor Bike expressed delight and thanked the bank for upholding their promised saying “this is not the first time the bank is rewarding its customers in such a gesture” Madam Jammeh further called on the other commercial banks to emulate GTBank for what she described as a loadable gesture.
Mr. Kitabu Camara and Omar Mbakeh all expressed similar sentiments and happiness for the award they received, while urging their fellow customers to continue to save with GTBank noting that the Bank was here to stay and was committed to giving back to its customer.
