GRTS gets new DG

Abdou M.K Touray, deputy Director General of TV programs of The Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) has been appointed as the new Director General of the broadcaster with effect from Tuesday 10 July 2018.

 Touray replaces Ebrima Sillah, who has now been appointed as the Minister of Information and Communication Infrastructure. Until this appointment, Touray was the deputy director TV programmes at the state broadcaster.

Ebrima Sankareh, spokesman of the Government has confirmed the new development to this paper.
