Gambia Police Force Co-operative Credit Union Limited (GPFCCU) Friday donated
two executive chairs, six visitor chairs, three long benches and one desk to
the Gambia Police Clinic and Drug Law Enforcement Agency The Gambia.
The presentation ceremony was held at both the Gambia Police Clinic and Office of the Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
The vice-chairman of the board of directors of GPFCCU, Ansumana F. Sanyang, said the donation was part of their plan for the various services within the credit union.
He disclosed that there are funds kept for such donation, adding that they want to plough back to the members who save with the credit union.
He added that health and security are always the priority of the executive members of the credit union.
The manager of the credit union, Arokey Jassey, said the credit union helps those who are serving the Ministry of Interior. He said requests are often accepted, if the need arises.
Officer commanding police clinic, Lamin S. Kassama, expressed his sincere gratitude to the credit union for the materials given to them.
He said that the police clinic plays a very vital role in terms of health, adding that they have considered health as their number one priority.
He disclosed that the materials given to them would be well-protected to serve the interest of the members.
Drug Law Enforcement Agency Gambia was given two executive chairs, six visitor chairs and three long desks.
The deputy director of DLEAG, Tijan Bah, thanked the credit union for their tireless effort and assured them of judicious use of the largesse.
