Ports Authority (GPA) has tumbled to demoted side Bombada 1-0 in the week
twenty-one fixture of the 2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation domestic
division one league.
The Brikama-based football club was demoted to the second tier before their clash with the ferry boys, who are fighting for the second spot in the top flight.
Despite their relegation to the second division Bombada secured the maximum three after notching one goal to beat Gambia Ports Authority with one more game to go before the end of the season.
Bombada will now switch their attention to their crucial FF cup semifinal second leg with rival Brikama United following their relegation to the second division.
Real De Banjul defeated league champions Gamtel 2-0 to maintain second spot while Marimoo thumped Bakau giant killers Steve Biko to stay in the top flight for yet another season. Brikama United pounded Hawks on the same score line while Fortune beat Banjul United 2-1. Elsewhere, Gambia Armed Forces defeated Tallinding United 1-0.
