international goalkeeper Modou Jobe has arrived in Banjul for the country’s
2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria on 8 September, at the
Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Jobe, who is currently plying his trade with Nigerian Premier League side Kenami Kings, is the country’s number one custodian for the encounter against the North Africans.
More foreign-based players are expected in Banjul in the coming days ahead of the decisive clash with the Desert Foxes in Banjul next week.
The Gambia currently sits bottom in group D of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers without a point after losing away to Benin in their opening group match last year.
