Gambia International Airline (GIA) along Kairaba Avenue has been re-opened for business by The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) following the settlement of their outstanding tax arrears last week.
Gambia Revenue Authority head of cooperate and public affairs, Ousman Bah confirmed the re-opening of the office when contacted. He said they have settled their arrears with GRA and has resumed normal business operation.
Mr. Bah said GRA is empowered by Section 215 of the Constitution to close any business that does not comply with revenue laws.
Gambia International Airline Kairaba Avenue office was temporarily closed by GRA due to tax arrears.
