The
Gambia Football Federation will yet again conduct a two seminar eye marked for
personnel specialized in football medicine.
The
two day event will run from Wednesday 23rd Nov to Thursday November 24th at the
GFF Secretariat in Kanifing. The seminar according to GFF Medical Officer
Kalipha Manneh is to orient representatives from all the league clubs about
football related injuries and solutions to injury prone players.
‘
We will further look into player injury prevention, sudden cardiac death and
arrest ( SCD/SCA), groin injury, knee and ligament. We will also reinforce our
first aid strategy to the participants’.
Twenty
first aid personnel selected from all League clubs are expected to take part in
the two day seminar.
The
seminar will be the latest conclave to be organized by the GFF in less than a
week after the one day orientation seminar with members of the Press held on
