Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Tuesday donated ten match balls and twenty
bibs to the University of The Gambia (UTG) through National Sports Council.
The donation came following the Council’s plea to the Football House to assist the country’s highest institution of learning with the prerequisite football materials for their preparation for the Gambia Football Federation 3rd Division Qualifiers.
The materials were presented on behalf of the Federation by its Women Football Coordinator Sainey Sissohore.
The items were received by University Sports Council Minister Veronic Malack and accompanied by Gorgie Jallow.
The former Gambia Women’s Scorpions player applauded the GFF for the gesture. She described the items as timely as the University is on the verge of joining the GFF football calendar.
Former FIFA Live Your Goals Girls Ambassador for the GFF Veronic Malack assured GFF that the donated items would be put into good use.
The ceremony was also attended by GFF Youth and Grassroots Coordinator Alhagie Ebrima Nyassi.
