GFF Premier League match preview

The reigning league and Super Cup champions Real de Banjul will face Hawks in the week five fixtures of the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league, tomorrow Saturday 24 January 2015 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Real de Banjul are unbeaten this season, after their 1-0 win over Gambia Ports Authority and 1-all stalemate against Armed Forces and the newly-promoted side Bombada in their previous outings.

Hawks made a flying start to the new division league season, following their 1-0 win over Wallidan in the opening fixtures, before losing to league leaders Gamtel in their last fixtures at the weekend.

Bakau United will host Brikama United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Bakau United will be looking to bounce back after losing to Wallidan 1-0 at the weekend.

Brikama United are unbeaten since the start of the new season in December 2014, and managed to snatch a 2-1 win against Serrekunda United, and drew against Interior and Gamtel in their previous outings.

Elsewhere, the newly-promoted Bombada will face run away league leaders Gamtel at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on the same day.

Bombada won one game against fellow promoted side Serrekunda United 1-0, drew 1-1 with the current league champions Real de Banjul and lost to Armed Forces 3-2 in their opening fixtures.

On Sunday 25 January 2015, Banjul United will play against Gambia Ports Authority in an all-Banjul derby clash at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Armed Forces will battle it out with Wallidan at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Serrekunda United will lock horns with Interior at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Interior and Serrekunda United are languishing second place from bottom and bottom place respectively, and will coming all out for a win against each other to bag the maximum points, so as to move away from the relegation zone.
