GFF charges Gunjur United Football Club

Gunjur United Football Club has been slapped with a D15, 000 fine, according to news filtering from the Football House in Kanifing Layout.

The Gunjur-based football Club was fined for their misconduct during their second division league fixtures against BK Milan and Immigration.

Both the head coach, Lamin Darboe, alias Darboe C and club president, Sulayman Sambou were suspended for two league matches; Gunjur United captain, Lamin Bojang, was suspended for one match, after receiving the marching off orders against BK Milan in the week-six fixture played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

Gunjur United were beaten in the last two fixtures of the second division against BK Milan 3-1 and Immigration 2-1 before they were fined by the country’s football governing body for their misconduct.
