Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced the appointment of Baboucarr
Jobe as competitions director of federation with immediate effect.
Mr. Jobe, until his recent appointment, was the competitions manager of the federation.
Mr. Jobe will head and coordinate all the activities of GFF competitions that include the domestic leagues, FF cup competitions and international matches.
He joined the GFF in 2011 as administrative officer at the competitions department responsible for match fixtures, logistics and statistics.
With his dedication and passion for the job, he was elevated to the position of Competitions in 2014.
Mr. Jobe is expected to put up a stronger administration and logistical arrangement at the competitions department.
He will be assisted by a competitions manager to be appointed soon and three other support staff to help in the administration, logistics and statistic of the competitions.
Baboucarr Jobe thanked GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo and executive members for the confidence reposed on him and assured staff that his office will remain opened to all for football development in the country.
