GFF 2nd Tier review

KGI will host Lamin United in the week seven fixtures of the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation second division, today Thursday 26 February 2015 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Bakau-outfit KGI are struggling in the second tier and lost the majority of their games, and will be fighting for a win against Lamin United to claim the maximum points to move away from the relegation zone.

The Lamin-based outfit are mid-table, and will be looking for a win against KGI to clinch the vital three points.

The newly-promoted side Immigration will play against Samger at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium. Immigration are currently in second place from bottom, and will eyeing a win to move from the relegation zone.

Samger are second place in the second tier, and will make all efforts to beat Immigration, to close the gap to current leaders Steve Biko.

Elsewhere, Seaview will clash with Serrekunda East Bi at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Seaview are in third place, and will be hoping to bounce back after losing to Tallinding United in their last fixtures to fancy their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.

Serrekunda East are mid-table and will be hoping to recover after losing in their previous fixtures.

On Friday 27 February 2015, Blue Star will meet Tallinding United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium; both sides are mid-table and will be aiming for victory to improve their positions in the league.

Young Africans will take on Steve Biko at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium; Young Africans will be hoping to bounce back after losing their previous games, to fancy their hopes gaining promotion to the first division next season.

Steve Biko are currently leading the second tier after winning their six opening games, and will be coming all-out for a win to maintain their hundred percent record in the second tier.
