Telecommunications giants Gamtel on Sunday beat Armed Forces in the week nine fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to boost their hopes of clinching their first-ever Gambian league title.

Real de Banjul beat Serrekunda United on the same score line at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium to fancy their chances of retaining their 2013-2014 division one league crown.

Brikama United dropped to second spot, following their 2-2 draw with Hawks at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Gambia Ports Authority also beat the newly-promoted side Bombada on the same score line at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Wallidan defeated Interior 2-1 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to move two places above the relegation zone.
