Gamtel were the first team to found the back of the net in the first half before Wallidan leveled the matters in the second half to share the spoils. Wallidan are still leading the top flight league table with 11 points despite their 1-1 stalemate with defending league champions Gamtel, who are flopping in the top flight league standings with only 3 points after five league matches.

Marimoo were held to a goalless draw by FF cup champions Gambia Armed Forces at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on the same day. They are third in the top flight league table with 9 points in five league matches and Gambia Armed Forces with 5 points after five league matches.
