performance in the country’s domestic and league cups.
The telecommunication giants are currently atop the domestic division one league standings with 38 points after eighteen league matches and five points ahead of second-place Real De Banjul, who has secured 33 points in eighteen league matches. They now have four more matches to go before the end of the league season.
Gamtel is also competing for the FF cup title after eliminating fellow top flight side Gambia Ports Authority in the second round of the league cup. They will challenge to win their remaining league matches to claim their second league title since they won their first Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league title in 2015 under former coach Tapha Manneh.
Coach Sulayman Kuyateh and his charges are also in contention for the FF cup title after kicking Gambia Ports Authority out and will brawl to win the FF cup trophy to clinch a double this season.
