Gamtel despair persists in GFF 1st Domestic league

Thursday, December 20, 2018

Defending champions Gamtel misery in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league season continued  following their 2-2 draw with FF cup champions Gambia Armed Forces in the week-four fixture played at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on Tuesday.

The telecommunication giants came all out for revenge against Gambia Armed Forces after losing to the soldiers 2-0 in the super cup final played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Friday but failed in their quest for revenge and the match ended 2-2.

The draw earned Gamtel 1 point in two league matches with two games in hand against Wallidan and PSV Wellingara.

The telecommunication giants need to win their remaining league matches to fancy their chances of retaining their last year’s league crown following their sloppy start to the new domestic league season.
