an e-business startup, offering online delivery services and scale platform to
home business communities, last Thursday trained marketing officers on how to
register and create accounts for clients all over the country.
Speaking at a local restaurant in Bijilo, chief executive officer Ebrima Jatta said Gamdiary offers free registration and it aims to promote business in The Gambia through a platform that has been designed for Gambians and non-Gambians to aggregate information about a particular business.
He said the Gamdiary app is a platform created to take business to the next level and it advertises businesses for free, provides company details, products and services that a particular business offers and help customers to find the location of business enterprises in the country.
Mr. Jatta said the platform also offers online shopping and helps clients to purchase products while at home with over 30 categories of different kinds of businesses.
According to him, the platform will help to reduce advertisement cost and allow business enterprises to operate and advertise for themselves by controlling the activities of their individual accounts.
He said obtaining data in The Gambia on various products and services can be very tedious, adding that search engines such as Google, Bings and Yahoo are all foreign and does not provide answers to ‘our’ local needs.
