Gambian reported missing in Austria

Family sources have confirmed to this medium that Cherno Jallow, a native of Banjul whose last trip in The Gambia was in 2012 has been missing in Austria, saying they dropped a line of communication with him since 2013.

Relatives say missing communication with Cherno for about six years is the most difficult time they are going through, appealing to both Gambian and the Austrian governments to help search for Cherno, saying they have tried every possibilities to locate him but to no avail.

They said in 2014, they travelled to Austria to find out Cherno’s whereabouts and reported him missing but they could not still receive any information about him from the Austrian police. They said if anyone come in contact with Cherno or knows his whereabouts can contact Ya Ida Jallow, a Gambian political activist.
