national Under 20 defender Muhammed Sanneh is currently in Estonia for a trial
with one Meistriliiga club Paide Linnameeskond.
The versatile Real de Banjul centre-back, who can also play on both sides of defence, was handed 45 minutes in Paide’s 2-0 loss to FC Flora last weekend before featuring the entirety of the 4-0 win over FC Kuressaare in pre-season matches.
The 18-year-old is training with Coach Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko’s side to earn a deal and become the second Gambian to sign for the club after compatriot and teammate, Alassana Jatta.
His performances impressed the team’s gaffer who showered him with praises after the match with Zahovaiko. “I think he has to be praised. Based on this game, he has given us a boost in the line of defense but we’ll [continue to] look at him.”
