Gambian attacker scores seventh league goal for Bangladesh club

Gambian international attacker, Momodou Bah has scored his seventh league goal for his Bangladesh Premier League club, Chittagong Abahani during their 3-0 win over Sheikh Russel KC, in the week-eighteen fixtures of the Bangladesh Premier League played at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.

Bah opened the scoring in the 9th minute of the first half to help his team to collect the maximum point after playing the full 90 minutes. Mohammed Sohel Mia’s brace guided his team to collect the maximum points against Sheikh Russel KC.

The 23-year-old, who signed for Chittagong Abahani in 2018 after leaving Sheikh Jamal, has now become a key figure for the Dhaka-based team.

The win aided the Chittagong Abahani team to climb to sixth position in the league with 22 points after playing eighteen matches, while Sheikh Russel occupied fourth position with 36 points in seventeen matches.

Momodou Bah’s Chittagong Abahani team will next play on Saturday against Mohammedan Dhaka
