Gambia Women U-17 team off to Freetown prior to 1st leg qualifiers

The Gambia national women’s U-17 team will today, Monday 9th October 2017 leave Banjul for Freetown, prior to their crucial 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup preliminary qualifiers first leg against Sierra Leone on Saturday 14th October, 2017 in Freetown.

The team over the weekend hammered Interior women’s team 6-2 in a friendly test game at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his technical team used the home test game against Interior, as part of the team technical preparation for the  Sierra Leone clash for the 2018 U-17 women’s championship in Uruguay.
