Gambia women U-17 Squad set to depart for Accra

The Gambia Women U-17 national team will leave Banjul on Thursday 21 December 2017 for Accra, for their crucial 2018 FIFA U-17 Women World Cup qualifiers second leg tie against Ghana, set for Saturday 23 December 2017 in Cape Coast.

The Women Scorpions lost to Ghana 5-1 in the first leg clash in Banjul on 2 December 2017, and will brawl for revenge to overturn the deficit to sail to the 2018 FIFA Women U-17 World Cup to be hosted in Uruguay.

Ghana need only a draw in the second leg encounter on 23 December 2017 to advance to the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women World Cup in Uruguay, after hammering The Gambia 5-1 in the first leg played in Banjul on 2 December 2017.
