U-23 and Olympic team are bracing up for their international games against
their Moroccan opponents slated for Sunday 6th and 9th January 2019 at the
Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The two friendly matches are arranged by both Gambia and Morocco Football Federations as part of engagements to cement the already existing MoU between the two federations.
A proposed list of invited players for the country’s U- 23 team has been announced. Below are players:

Meanwhile, the Moroccan team arrived yesterday Wednesday at around 1:20am and would start training at the National Technical Training Centre in Yundum while the Gambian lads will continue their regular practices at the Independence Stadium daily.
Ahead of the first game on Sunday, Head coach Omar Ceesay and his charges faced off with the Senior National Team professionals on holiday in a warm up match on Monday 31st December and put up a fined performance over the holiday makers by beating them 4-0 at full time.
