Gambia U-13 Register Second Victory in Ghana

The Gambia U-13 team registered its second victory in the one week ICC North/West Cricket Championship currently in session in Ghana, according to reports reaching Pointsport.

The U-13 Cricket team sailed past Nigeria by recording 133 runs in 18 overs yesterday afternoon boosting their first time appearance in the championship this year.

The largest wicket taker was Mustapha Suwareh who got 3 wickets in four overs, Lamin Touray and Suraj Aswaney each got 2 and one wickets respectively.

Paul Donkor registered 41 runs in his name.

Nigeria managed 94 runs in 15.1 overs.

Coach Wilfred Riley will also lead the future of Gambian cricket in their match against Cameroon later today. The team will play their final game against Ghana on Thursday.

Host Ghana Lost to Sierra Leone yesterday.
