Gambia U-13 Cricket Team Leaves for Ghana

The Gambia U-13 cricket team will make its debut appearance in the ICC North /West Cricket Championship in Ghana.

The team will leave Banjul on Saturday 18th April 2009 for a one-week championship involving Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Sierra Leone and The Gambia.

The national U-13 team had a very intensive training programme ahead of the Ghana Championship which would have taken place earlier.

The team will leave under the guidance of Coach Wilfred Riley and team manager James George. Other members of the team include: Lamin Touray, team captain; Ousman Bah, Caesar Loppy, Paul Danker, Joseph Baldeh, Pa Kebba Jeng, Babucarr Jallow, Pa Assan Faye, Suraye Sawaney and Mustapha Suwareh.
