Gambia national team has commenced training ahead of the proposed international friendly match against Central African Republic this Friday.

Under GFF technical director Sang Ndong, the Scorpions will clash with the Wild Beasts at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. Ndong is being assisted by U-23 coach Omar Sise, U-20 coach Matarr Mboge and GPA coach Alagie Sarr in the preparatory training.

Sang Ndong will use the training sessions to scout a formidable squad to face Central African Republic this weekend.

The Gambia will also use the international friendly tie to prepare for the continent’s biggest football fiesta qualifiers at home to Algeria in Banjul in September this year.
