championship qualifiers, after the draw for the continent’s cadet biggest
football fray qualifiers was held at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo recently.
The Young Scorpions were given a goodbye in the second round of the qualifiers after their exit in the final stage of the 2017 Africa U-20 Youth Championship qualifiers following their 2-1 aggregate defeat to Guinea Conakry in the qualifiers.
Coach Matarr Mboge and his charges are currently training at the FIFA Goal Project in Old Yundum to prepare themselves fit and ready for their crucial qualifier against Liberia or Benin later this year.
The Young scorpions failed to qualify for the 2017 Africa U-20 Youth Championship hosted in Zambia, after losing to Guinea Conakry 2-1 on aggregate in the second leg of the qualifiers in Conakry.
