Gambia Police Force -GPF- and South Korea-based International Youth Fellowship
–IYF- have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will help to foster
partnership, unity and corporation between them.
The MOU was signed at the office of the Inspector General of Police –IGP- at the Police headquarters in Banjul.
IGP Landing Kinteh signed the document on behalf of The Gambia Police and witnessed by commissioner of police Abdoulie Sanneh while Wook- Jin Oe, IYF country director signed on behalf of the Fellowship. The MoU also includes Mind Education training.
IGP Kinteh said they were inspired when the Mind Education programme was presented to them with regard to the education package. He said Gambia Police have brought many reforms, saying this MoU with the IYF is part of that reform process.
IYF’s country director Mr. Oe said they introduced the Mind Education to senior officers of the GPF in December during a seminar.
