Gambia hammers Bissau 4-1 in international friendly

Adama Tamba’s hat trick and Ola Buwaro’s goal were enough to earn The Gambia Senior Female National Team a convincing 4-1 win over Guinea Bissau on Monday evening.

The friendly test game in Bissau was part of preparations for the team ahead of their upcoming engagements.

The game is in preparation for Gambia’s AfCON Women’s Qualifier match against Burkina Faso. The team arrived in Bissau on Saturday evening.

Gambia hosted Bissau in Banjul in the first leg of the friendly international where the home side won 2-0 with goals from Adama Tamba and Isatou Jallow.
